By using PDF Karigar (the “site”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1. The service
PDF Karigar provides free tools for working with PDF and office files. The tools run in your own browser; your files are not uploaded to us (see the Privacy Policy). We may add, change or remove tools at any time.
2. Your files and your responsibility
- Only use files you own or have permission to use.
- Only unlock, edit or remove restrictions from documents you are allowed to change.
- Don’t use the site to create forged or misleading documents, to break the law, or to infringe anyone’s copyright or privacy.
3. Check your results
Conversions and edits are done automatically and may not always be perfect — layouts, fonts or tables can change. Check every result before you rely on it or send it, and keep your original files. Signatures added with the PDF Editor are images placed on the page; we don’t verify anyone’s identity, and whether a signature is accepted depends on who you send it to.
4. Fair use of the site
Don’t try to disrupt or overload the site, get around its security, or copy its design, content or branding.
5. Ownership
The PDF Karigar name, logo, design and content belong to Mechanic Tech. Solution. The site also uses open-source software, each under its own licence: pdf.js, pdf-lib, fontkit, JSZip, Mammoth, SheetJS, html2canvas and PptxGenJS.
6. No warranty
The site is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Mechanic Tech. Solution is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site — including lost or damaged files, lost data or missed deadlines.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the site means you accept it.
